Tamarind Camp has a main camp with 6 chalets sleeping 16 people.
A large dining and bar area provides excellent views of the Zambezi River.
There is a separate, fully-equipped kitchen facility for self-catering, including crockery, glassware, cutlery and cookware
Centrally located in the gardens is plunge pool in which to cool off
The Camp consists of :
- Chalet 1, 2 single beds en suite with shower
- Chalet 2, 2 single beds en suite with shower
- Chalet 3, 1 double bed en suite with shower
- Chalet 4, 1 double bed + 1 bunk bed en suite with shower
- Chalet 5, 2 single beds en suite, with shower
- Chalet 6, 1 double bedded bedroom, en suite with shower and separate lounge/bedroom and terrace
All chalets have morning + evening hot water

- US$ 40 per person self catering per night for groups of 5 or more
- Children 0-5 years free. Children 6-12 half price

- Cancellations 7 days or less, prior to booking date will not be refunded

CAMPING AT THE CAMPSITE
Set on the banks of the Zambezi looking East under a canopy of winter thorn trees with numerous camp sites on terraced lawns.
Facilities include:
- Two braai unit facilities and water taps
- Twin shower, WC ablution units
- Twin kitchen – wash up areas – All with hot and cold water services
- Camp Attendant Aaron will fire up the hot water boiler and provide some camp fire wood.
- Boating and boat launching arranged with Camp Manager Lawrence Chidakwa at main camp coordinated with Aaron
Camping rates
- From $15 per person per night
- Children under 6 free
